Privacy notice
IPNEX is built to hold as little of your data as possible. This notice says plainly what we keep, why, and how to have it erased.
Browsing and asking questions (free)
You can browse the site and use the assistant without an account. We hold no personal data for free use and never store the text of your questions. To keep the free assistant fair and to deter abuse we keep an anonymous counter only: an opaque browser cookie and a one-way hash of your IP address, each mapped to a per-day count. Neither identifies you and neither is sold or shared.
Buying a report
When you buy a diligence report we hold only your purchase email and your report entitlement (which report you bought, and an access token with an expiry and a view limit). That is the minimum needed to deliver what you paid for and to answer a support or refund request.
Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details never touch IPNEX servers -- they go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe shares back only the confirmation that payment succeeded and the email you gave at checkout.
Your report is delivered behind a private, unguessable link and is watermarked with your email and purchase id, so a shared copy can be traced. Please treat the link and the report as personal to you.
Lawful basis, retention and your rights
We hold purchase data to perform the contract you entered (delivering your report) and to meet basic record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to access or erase your data at any time; we will erase your purchase email on request once any refund window and legal record-keeping period has passed. The anonymous abuse counters expire on their own and hold nothing that identifies you.
If you contact us
When you use our contact form we hold the name, email and message you send, plus a reference number, so we can reply and keep a record of the exchange. We use it only to respond, and we erase it on request once any related matter is closed.
What we never do
We do not store your questions, build a profile of you, sell your data, or run third-party advertising or cross-site trackers.
